McDonald's ties them in Notts ! |

Team Warwickshire 2nd's v Nottinghamshire at Hearsall GC on Sunday 12th October 2008. This was the rearranged fixture following the cancellation on Sunday 7th September. We arrived at Hearsall Golf Club thinking that the heavy fog that had descended and the notoriously resilient Nottinghamshire team would be our concerns, that was until we realised that there wasn't a chef in the clubhouse and that would mean that there would be no breakfast !

Warwickshire 2nds vs Staffordshire |
| Sunday 2nd September 2007 - Edgebaston GC - Due to holidays, general availability and the very late promotion of two players to the 1st's, this month's 2nd team had an unfamiliar look to it.Debuts were handed to no less than 4 players (3 of these being juniors) and another returning to county golf after an absence of some 10 years. Alongside these were half a dozen or so of 'the regulars', this was indeed going to test the strength in depth of Warwickshire golf.

Midland League 2007 - R3 - Copt Heath GC - Sunday 5th August - Vs Shropshire & Herefordshire - With League leaders Worcestershire losing (quite heavily) at home to Notts, this Sunday's match was a chance to go right back into contention to retain the title won so handsomely in 2006. the result -a draw against visitors Shropshire & Hereford - was not what either side wanted.

A rare loss for the Seconds |
| An excellent foursomes effort saw Warks take a creditable lunchtime lead of 3.5 v 2.5, this could have been better with the Hufton/Harben partnership being pegged back from a front nine 3 hole lead for their half and Jewsbury/Senior going down narrowly by 1 hole. Gary Greenway of Atherstone making his 2nd team debut formed a solid partnership with John Taylor for the biggest morning win of 5 & 3.
