Matt's Double |
Warwickshire Amateur Championship 2007 - Moor Hall GC - Tuesday 29th May. With a superb 65 and then a 67, Matt Cryer took his second Amateur title over the lush fairways of Moor Hall, setting records along the way and dominating to the extent that he was six shots better than the runners-up Andy Sullivan and Dale Marson.

Super Stafford - a review of the Centenary Amateur |
| This feature includes the scores for the 2006 Centenary Warwickshire Amateur Championship, the picture gallery of all the players, and an interview with the new Champion. It was a perfect day last Thursday, 21st May, for the Championships, the only day in a very wet week. Staying out of the rough and putting well was something David Howell managed at the BMW Championship. It was the same for Ben .... |

Randle is Champion for 2005! |
This report is a continuation of that for the morning round which saw Rob Steele and Louis Meryon tied for the lead in the 2005 Amateur on 69 (-3). For Gareth Jenkins, there was little consolation in playing the four holes on the back nine that had cost him so dearly in the morning round, in a total of nine shots better. The rest of his second round produced the same 74 as the morning but in a completely different manner. This was the first of so many stories of being close to taking the most prestigious title in Warwickshire Golf – and not quite making it |

Cryer’s woes as only Meryon and Steele break 70 |
| Warwickshire Amateur Championship – 1st Round Report. There could have been some very good scoring on a perfect morning for golf, had players held together some bursts of very impressive scoring. Gareth Jenkins (Kenilworth) was –6 after 10 holes and with two par fives to come, was looking at a mid 60s round. |

Its Cryer’s Amateur – Jak’s back and Ladbrook take the team title |
Over a very well set-up and prepared Ladbrook Park golf course, a field of 80 of Warwickshire’s best contested the 2004 Amateur Championship trying to win the most prestigious title the County has …. and one Matt Cryer (Coventry) had been waiting for (and wanting) for a long time. As the best handicap in the County (and part of the England Teams set-up), Matt was the favourite and after an opening 68 he was in great position to take his first Amateur. |

Warwickshire Amateur Championship 2003 |
| Handsworth GC 12th May
With showers forecast all day, the heavy and continuous morning rain soon dampened the hopes of some of the field.
First off was Handsworth member Dave Westwood who with solid putting and driving posted his best ever round at his home club, a 67, including 5 birdies. It was a score that no-one would match even with the improving conditions.
