Geraghty just gets better and better |
Wawrwickshire Boys Trials 2006 - Stonebridge GC - 20th April - With a level par 70, Andrew Geraghty added another Warwickshire title to his Junior CV, his last win coming at the final Warwickshire Junior Championship of 2005, the U15s. It was more reward for his hard work this Spring and the low round of the day came via just 26 putts. Whilst Geraghty was consistent, his nearest pursuers just made a hatful of mistakes. This editorial also includes news of the McEvoy. |

Business as usual for Browning |
| With a gross 69 (-3) is was another win in the Boys Trials at Ingon Manor GC for Rob Browning to make his start for the competitive season a 36 holes total of 140 over the last two days, the sort of scoring he will need to be highly placed in the McEvoy in two weeks time. Rob was already assured of his palce in the 8 man team for the Four Counties later in April but for a number of those playing, it was a chance to impress |

Continuing on from 03 – Browning wins Boys Trials |
Last year, Rob Browning had his best ever few months of golf. He did not win a County trophy but in October 03, his golf was rewarded with the Order of Merit title, courtesy of winning the JoM Championship and a few junior opens along the way. Yesterday, he could have had the Henley course record but fell away over the last 6. At Stoneleigh, Rob kept his game for the full 18 and took the Boys Trials. |

A new contender |
| The 2003 trials started with an excellent battle between two of the top Warwickshire juniors Chris Evans and Jak Hamblett, playing in the same three-ball. Evans ran out one shot better than Hamblett with a level par 71 after Hamblett dropped a shot on the last. They were in the second group in and were quickly followed by Dale Marson, the ever improving Rugby golfer whose 72 could have been two shots lower but for finding the ditch on the 18th. |
