The British Boys Championship 2008 - Little Aston Golf Club - Monday 11th to Saturday 16th August - The two Warwickshire Boys left in this year's British Boys are at the opposite end of the draw, and both are through to the round of 64, not yet half way through what is a marathon test of golf as there are five more possible matches to play.

The British Boys Championship 2008 - Little Aston Golf Club - Monday 11th to Saturday 16th August - Day 1 saw six of our players in action. First in and a winner was Harry Ibbertson. He was soon followed by Will Bailey. Warwickshire did lose Chris Freeman to German Boy Max Walz (by 3&2) so how would Rob Bardsley fare against his German opposition?

Carney takes 2nd in McGregor
The English U16s - The 'McGregor' - High Post GC - 1st-3rd July - Its been many years since a Warwickshire Golfer has taken a National Title. Last year Matt Cryer reached the final of the English Amateur, last week Andy Sullivan got to the semis of the British, and just yesterday Jamie Carney was just two strokes away from the McGregor.

British Amateur 2008 - Turnberry Hotel - D4 - the Quarter & Semi-Finals. 'I just couldn't find a swing', said Andy of his last three holes in this year's British Amateur, three crucial losses which gave the match to young Tommy Fleetwood after a classic battle in the semi-finals of the 2008 Amateur
