Leamington & County Golf Club - Wednesday 10th September - The last of the 2008 Warwickshire Championships is to be played at Leamington, as part of their Centenary Celebrations. Friday 9th September 2006 - Coventry GC - the 2006 Warwickshire Open. The 'showpiece' championship of each year, when Warwickshire professionals take on our best Amateurs for the Open title, has attracted a very strong field. The draw is available in this feature. The 36 holes of the Open will also complete the 72 holes played for the TP Cooke Salver for the low score by an Amateur in both the Open and the Amateur.

The 2005 Open will be played at Edgbaston GC on Tuesday 20th September and this editorial includes the full start sheet. There are two recent past Champions playing (both professionals) and despite the withdrawal of Matt Cryer through EGU commitments, there are some very much in-form amateurs who could possibly end the run of Pro wins.
