The season's final games are synonymous with creating nail biting finishes and a certain amount of faith is required from both managers and supporters alike.

A more competitive and stressful week has never been had for the seven players who represented Warwickshire at this year's county finals. It was 36 holes for three consecutive days competing against three very strong counties and we now know what is required to beat these teams.

English County Finals 2011 - Ganton GC - Day 2 - With a totally different mood our squad today took on the might of Surrey, Stiggy Hodgson and all. We lost but the matches were much tighter and after the foursommes, the score was 1.5 apiece

The4 2011 English County Champions Final - Ganton GC - Friday 23rd September - Warwickshire vs Wiltshire - From all the records available, no team has ever won this title having lost on the first day. Warwickshire didn't come close to winning and had just one match win out of the nine points played. It could have hardly been worse.

Friday 23rd-Sunday 25th September - Here it is at last the week we have worked towards for the past three months County finals at Ganton GC, the planning and organising has now come to an end and the team are ready for action.
- Big Comeback for the 1sts
1st V Shropshire & Herefordshire 04/09/2011 - Our latest match of the season took us deep into Hereford to the Herefordshire Golf Club due to the distance this involved a night's stay over and we took advantage of a practice round Saturday afternoon. Following a very long journey due to motorway roadwork's some 3hrs later we arrived at a sunny Herefordshire this was a new venue for all but one of the team and even then Karl had only played 10 holes a few years ago before rain stopped play.
