• No 2 U14s for Maxwell

The 2010 Warwickshire U14s and U12s - Tuesday 17th August - North Warwickshire Golf Club - It wasn't the best golf Max Martin played to win his second U14s title, but it was good enough and an afternoon best for Stefan Gnyla saw him come through to take his first U12s

  • Taking it to the Max

The 2009 Warwickshire U14s and U12s - North Warwickshire Golf Club - Tuesday 24th August 2009 - The first thing to be said about this years' County championships for the youngest players was the quality of the field. So much talent aged 8 to 14 were in the field and the prospect for 2010 and beyond are that future winners may well be under par to do so. That sort of golf is well within the compass of this year's champion Max Martin, especially after he was one under for his final nine to take both cups.

  • Tough win for Lawrence

Warwickshire U14s 2008 - North Warks Golf Club - Tuesday 19th August. Winning you first major championship is always tough and when you are U14, the likelihood is that you haven't won too often before, but for Rhys Lawrence the 'quadruple' is now on as he today added the U14s to the Warwickshire Young Masters U12s he took two years ago.

  • Carney takes first Warwickshire Win

Warwickshire Boys U16s - Monday 20th August - Coventry Hearsall GC - Jamie Carney led from start to finish to win his first Boys title but in the end it was much closer than the three stroke margin the scores for the day show. Jamie actually won by those three shots from Sam Teather - who took the U14s last year with a superb final nine - from Jamie. The 'match' was actually between Jamie and this year's Mans Matchplay Champion Michael McCormack.

  • Sant hits the double

North Warks GC – Tuesday 3rd August 2004. A year ago to the day, Jack Sant (at aged 13) stated he wanted to emulate Paul Broadhurst in winning the Warwickshire U15s two years in succession. It was a positive message that Jack has carried with him since as he progresses rapidly through the ranks of Warwickshire Junior Golf and today; he lived up to his word with a score of 2 under par for the 27 holes of the Championship.
