Carney takes first Warwickshire Win |
Warwickshire Boys U16s - Monday 20th August - Coventry Hearsall GC - Jamie Carney led from start to finish to win his first Boys title but in the end it was much closer than the three stroke margin the scores for the day show. Jamie actually won by those three shots from Sam Teather - who took the U14s last year with a superb final nine - from Jamie. The 'match' was actually between Jamie and this year's Mans Matchplay Champion Michael McCormack.

Sant hits the double |
| North Warks GC – Tuesday 3rd August 2004. A year ago to the day, Jack Sant (at aged 13) stated he wanted to emulate Paul Broadhurst in winning the Warwickshire U15s two years in succession. It was a positive message that Jack has carried with him since as he progresses rapidly through the ranks of Warwickshire Junior Golf and today; he lived up to his word with a score of 2 under par for the 27 holes of the Championship. |

U15s - North Warks 3rd August 2004 |
Last year Jack Sant took the U15s and he will return to North Warwickshire GC to try and emulate Paul Broadhurst by winning this title twice in succession. His closest challenger will be (on handicap basis) Steve Mumford who became one of the youngest ever club champions in 2003 by winning at his home club Coventry Hearsall.

Sant takes Warwickshire Championship No1 |
| For Jack Sant, this was a very special day. He is only 14 and will qualify for the U15s next year but along with Leigh Pritchard, Tom Price and Steve Mumford, he is one of a select group of very talented Juniors who are expected to carry on the incredible level of success for our County in future years.
All the above, and a number of others, have done well at U16 s level playing and winning matches against the best from other Counties. There have been hiccups though and all our Juniors know of the success that the County has had, and of the players who have gone on to Tour success. One such player, and past U15s Champion, is Paul Broadhurst, a name Jack was first to mention.
