- A Winner's Annual Dinner
The 2014 Annual Dinner of the Warwickshire Union of Golf Clubs - Copt Heath GC - Friday 28th November - This was a special year for our County, with wins in three Midland Leagues, plus the Junior Play-offs, and a sterling performance in the English County Finals. It was a time to celebrate.

The 2014 Season has not been a successful year from a results standpoint; The playing record was won 3 lost 7; the matches were a lot closer than the results suggest with many individual matches going to the 18th hole.
- Brand new winners of The Bainbridge
The final of the 2014 Bainbridge Shield - Ladbrook Park Gc - Sunday 2nd November - Rob Hood A vs Olton A - When a golf partnership works, it doesn't matter what handicaps the players are, and whilst Gary Skipp and Luke Burgess kept on mentioning the quality (often scratch or better) of the players they beat to win this year's Bainbridge for Robin Hood, they produced quality golf throughout their campaign - as evidenced by the huge trophy that will hang in their club for the next 12 months.

The 2014 Warwickshire Club Champions Tournament - The Marriott Forest of Arden - Saturday 25th October - and the 2014 Junior Team Tournament - Copt Heath Golf Club - Sunday 26th October. 30 of our Club Champions gathered at The Forest of Arden for one final competition of 2014, to decide who wold be the Champion of Champions whilst over at Copt Heath, eight of our clubs sent teams of three juniors to decide who will represent Warwickshire in next year's English County Junior Club tournament.

The JOM Championship - The West Midlands Golf Club - Saturday 18th October - When you know that 80% (13 of your fellow competitors) can win a title which takes a season to get into contention for, even though you are leader going into the last event, you are either playing in the PGA Play-offs or you are Sam Broadhurst trying to retain a title you won in dramatic fashion in 2013. Starting 5,6,7 is about as big disaster as you can have.
