Whitehouse is ready |
Tom Whitehouse will tee it up this week, along with Paul Broadhurst and Steve Webster as past Warwickshire Amateur Champions (and 153 others in what is a very classy field), playing for the Quinn Direct British Masters title - and a 300K (GBP) first prize, as the European Tour returns to the UK for the first time in 2006. Its a Ryder Cup year and whilst Broadhurst is very much a contender, Whitehouse is looking to consolidate on a good start to his first year back on the Main Tour.

Winning with Webster |
| There is one man at the Marriott Forest f Arden for the Daily Telegraph Dunlop British Masters who cannot keep a smile off his face. He looks as if he is the most relaxed man on the planet and when he talks the confidence of a winner is there, as it should be if you are the new Italian Open Champion. After 10 years of waiting, Steve Webster took his first Tour title and it may no be the last as his game that always was technically excellent now has a mind set to go with it. |
