The 2004 Celtic Manor Wales Open - Day 3 - Moving Day |
There were only two people who were making winning moves - Khan and Casey. This became a two man battle very quickly, watched by more record crowds in very warm conditions and for the newly changed shirt sponsorship for Khan, meant playing the last two rounds in a slipover so as to retain a logo from a general sponsor as well as promoting Polo Ralph Lauren. Would he keep cool under the pressure and the wool? |

Celtic Manor Wales Open - Day 3 |
| Ian Poulter, swinging well and with lots of confidence, notably talking about Ryder Cups and stuff (Could Poulter be the Dottie Pepper of a EuropeanTeam in the greatest team championship in golf?) would turn the 2003 Wales Open into a procession if he was not pressurised early. Aggressive golf is Poulter’s forte, and with illness tempering his pushiness (towards his golf - Poulter has become much more of a likeable character in the past few years).
