    On Sunday 13th May 2012, at Ingon Manor, the Warwickshire Boy's team defeated Worcestershire, the recent four County Championship winners, by 9 matches to 6.

    In the second friendly of the season the Boy's team lost 11-7 to Nottingham at Ingon Manor on 11th March 2012. The team was, Louie Pett (Capt), Adam Lumley, Dan Lane, Dan Spalding, Alex Bagnall, Joe Lawlor, Max Martin, Andrew Scott, Iain Mackay, Jamie Calvert, Tom Jones, Marcus Mollison.

    Saturday 3 September 2011, 9.00 a.m. saw our team of six boys plus one reserve assembled at Broughton Heath, a testing 18 hole par 3 course of 3,125 yards, with holes between 110 and 206 yards, average 172, SSS 57.

  • Dramatic loss to Staffordshire

    Saturday 30th July - Boys vs Staffordshire at Ladbrook Park GC - We approached this match knowing that the winner would probably win the Western division of the Boys' MGU League and progress to the final against the East. Things looked pretty good when the foursomes stood at 2 - 2 with our other pair 3 up with 4 to play. That?s when we might have guessed all might not go well as we declined to dormie one, and then three putted the last. 2 ? - 2 ?.

  • Boys v Derbys - Copt Heath

    Sunday 5th June - Warks 7 1/2 Derbys 7 1/2 -Because of exams and injury, we were forced to field 4 rookies for this match. Absentees included Nathan Ray (shoulder injury) and Luke Allen ('A' Levels), two of our top four, so we were, to say the least, expecting a hard day.

  • EGU Midland Ten Counties Qualifier - not our best year

    The format is teams of 6, playing 36 holes medal, with aggregate of best 5 scores in each round to count, the winning county to represent the Midlands in the National Finals in August. So how did we do and what went on?
