County Championships ? Day 3 Semi finals
Abbey Gittings defeated Elizabeth Galland 5 and 4 this morning. There was nothing much between them from tee to green but Abbey had the edge with her putting. Two birdies, one bogey and level pars saw our 2007 Champion progress into the final. Charlotte Dalton came up against Lisa Barton and the story was much the same here. A couple of birdies and straight pars saw Charlotte take the edge and reach the final for the first time. Result 5 and 4.
County Championships Day2 - Morning Session 8th May 2008
Another beautiful day greeted the top 16 qualifiers for the knock out stages. Defending champion Abbey Gittings went five up after five holes and continued with steady pars to win 7/6 against Elizabeth Murdoch.
