Boys vs Staffs, English Schools, Midland U21s - Report on Boys match Warwicks v Staffs The match was played at Trentham Park golf club. Heavy showers throughout the morning and the early afternoon made conditions difficult for the players.

| Rob's men did Warwickshire proud again. We arrived at New Mills GC and found a course of two halves: old and nearly new. The front 9 has recently been created from a farm or two and was wide open with rock hard greens. The back 9 was sloping parkland with stunning views over Cheshire and Manchester |

Purley Chase GC - Sunday 4th May 2008 - Midland Junior League - Match 1 vs Worcestershire. Warwickshire Juniors continued their unbeaten run from 2007, with a slightly more convincing than last year's (but still very narrow) victory over our ever present rivals Worcestershire by 8.5-6.5 points. The winning points took some getting!

Juniors take three out of four |
| Midland League Play-offs - Tuesday 16th October - Wollaton Park GC, Nottingham. Having missed out on the single qualification spot for the English Junior County Finals - by some margin after a number of other counties stormed past us and Worcestershire took that top spot - Warwickshire Juniors made sure of every other trophy they could win with one final unbeaten performance against regular rivals Nottinghamshire.

Midland Junior League 2007 - Match 4 - vs Shrops & Hereford away at Worfield GC - Thursday 23rd August - With nine holes to play, Warwickshire looked to have blown any chance of this year's Midland League title. Our team were only in front in three matches and many times it has been Shropshire & Hereford who have been out biggest rivals and our 'bete noir'.

ONE WIN AWAY FROM TITLE |
| Henley Golf & Country Club - Sunday 7th June - Midland League vs Staffordshire. This fixture last year was the start of the demise of Warwickshire's Boys team's chance of the Midland league title - a loss away. As yet another Summer storm brushed the Henley course in the afternoon, this years team built on a winning morning to reverse that result and take a firm grip on the Midland League title.
