MALELANE, South Africa (10 December 2006) ? Armed with a broad smile and bold game, Spain's Alvaro Quiros claimed his maiden European Tour victory in the Alfred Dunhill Championship at Leopard Creek on Sunday. In temperatures of 40 Degrees, Quiros birdied the last for a 67 and total of 13 under par, and then watched as Charl Schwartzel's challenge ended in the water on 18.

| MALELANE, South Africa (9 December 2006) ? Charl Schwartzel will take a two-stroke lead into Sunday's final round of the Alfred Dunhill Championship at Leopard Creek. The 22-year-old signed for his third successive 68 of the week for a total of 12 under par, with European Ryder Cup player Lee Westwood and Welshman Mark Pilkington his nearest challengers after respective rounds of 67 and 65.

For the two-time Major winner it will be yet another international stopping point in what is an illustrious career and he is sure to have strong vocal support from the South African contingent among the spectators at the tenth staging of the Commercialbank of Qatar-sponsored tournament from January 25-28.

MALELANE, South Africa (7 December 2006) ? South Africa's Charl Schwartzel made a strong charge towards his second Alfred Dunhill Championship title in three years when he finished the first round in a five-way tie for the lead at Leopard Creek on Thursday. Schwartzel, countryman Wayne de Haas, Italy's Alessandro Tadini and Englishmen Oliver Wilson and Phillip Archer all opened with rounds of four under par 68 and head the field by a single stroke.

Wary Westwood hopes to avoid Leopard Creek rough |
| MALELANE, South Africa (7 December 2006) - Golfers at the best of times want to avoid spending too much time in the rough. But European Ryder Cup star Lee Westwood says he's been told to stay well clear of the rough at Leopard Creek when he makes his debut in this week's Alfred Dunhill Championship.
