The Final of the 2013 Warwickshire Matchplay Championship - Wednesday 5th June - Shirley GC - When any Tour player wins a title, the press are issued with a 'With this win' sheet, a list of what that achievement will do in terms of rankings, whether they are the youngest (or oldest) winners etc. For Louie Pett, this was a bit of 'revenge', a (substantial) reward and justification for his efforts in year one of playing the amateur 'circuit', and that first 'major' win, something that will stay with him forever.
- Three through in Midland Schools
The 2013 Midland Schools Championship - Northants Golf Club - It was a good day for Warwickshire last week in the annual Midland Schools, with three players qualifying for the English Schools, to be held at Hollinwell GC later this month.
- Drury joins the impressive Young Masters Winners Roster
Stoneleigh Deer Park GC - The 8th WYM took place on 30th May, having been moved from its Easter time slot, a move which did not detract from the number of Entries received. The weather could have been kinder, but Warwickshire's very young golfers were undeterred in their enthusiasm.

Sunday 2nd June - Shirley GC - Unfortunately this year's final has been cancelled after Louie Pett was unable to play because of illness - it will be re-scheduled as soon as possible.

Warwickshire 2nds v Shropshire & Herefordshire 2nd Team - Harborne Golf Club - Sunday 26th May 2013 - A warm sunny day at Harborne Golf Club would play host to the second League match of 2013 against Shropshire & Herefordshire who were playing another league match on away soil.

Staffordshire U16s vs Warwickshire's U16s - Sunday May 26th - At Wolstanton Golf Club, Staffordshire hosted an excellent fixture which went down to the very last match. On a course that demanded precision rather than power, it was Warwickshire's younger players that showed their true mettle both in the foursomes and singles matches.
