On the superbly presented fairways and course of the Worcestershire, the
first round of matches in County Weeek for 2005 has already presented the hosts
Worcesteshire with the possibility of taking on our County on Day 3 for the opportunity to progress to the sem-finals of this most prestigious of Ladies Golf Championships in England. 'I'm delighted to have got off to this start', said County Captain Pat Hale after the 5.5 to 3.5 win for Warwickshire in Match 1 vs Derbyshire. |

1st team have final coaching with Andy Dunbar |
| On April 10th the successful WLCGA 1st team of 2004 had their final coaching session with Andy Dunbar at Stratford Oaks Golf Club. Although the squad for 2005 will not be formally announced until after the County Championship in May, I am expecting few changes this year.

Fliss Johnson (Harborne) and Lisa Barton (Coventry Finham), the most successful foursomes pairing in the Warwickshire Ladies Team of 2004, came so close to winning the Midland Foursomes event at Harlestone Golf Club in Northamptonshire this week. |

The Dream is over – until next year! |
