• NEW CAPTAIN for WLCGA - 2010/2011

    At the Warwickshire Ladies County Golf Association AGM, held today at Copt Heath GC, the Badge of Office for Captaincy of the Warwickshire Ladies was handed over to Dottie Beanland for a two year period. The photograph shows Dottie proudly wearing the badge of office with Bev Belcher, outgoing Captain, looking quite relieved!!

  • COURSE SCRATCH SCORE ASSESSMENT - November 2009

    The Scratch Score Assessor is responsible for the Ladies Golf Union (LGU) scratch score of golf clubs in the County until such time as the course is re-assessed in accordance with the United States Golf Association (USGA) Course Rating System as required by CONGU.

    The Warwickshire Ladies Autumn Luncheon took place on 21st October 2008 at Henley Golf and Country Club and what a wonderful day it proved to be.

  • £ 25,000 BOOST FOR GOLF IN WARWICKSHIRE!

    Golf in Warwickshire has received a £ 25,000 boost to develop the sport and introduce more people of all ages and backgrounds to the game across the county over the next three years.

  • WLCGA Rules Refresher Courses 2008 hailed a huge success!!

    The WLCGA organised two courses for its members to coincide with the start of the season. They were held on March 6th at Moor Hall Golf Club and April 1st at Coventry Golf Club. Every club in the County were invited to send a maximum of four delegates to one of the evenings and in the end over 110 ladies attended.

  • NEW PARTNERSHIP MAKES HISTORY FOR WARWICKSHIRE GOLF

    Golf clubs throughout Warwickshire have given the green light for its county amateur and professional organisations to join forces and promote the game through a united alliance for the first time in its sporting history.
