With bright, sunny and very warm weather the order of the day, the Championships were this year held at Copt Heath Golf Club on Monday 11th July. The ball was rolling well on the sun drenched fairways and there was alot of bunker practice by all!!..

What a fantastic day for the first Vet's competition of 2011. Moor Hall was the venue on Monday 18th April and some 92 ladies from 22 clubs competed in a Better Ball Stableford competition.....

After the heavy rain on Sunday, where cancellation of the Competition had been a possibility, Monday dawned just perfect and throughout the day's play, sunshine was the order of the day. Stratford Oaks was the venue for this this Autumn meeting, the last in thge 2010 callendar

The Vets Summer Meeting for 2010 was played at Harborne Golf Club on Monday 23rd August, but someone forgot to book the 'Summer' weather!! The early starters must have groaned as they got out of bed yesterday morning at the injustice of having to start so early, but oh how they changed their minds as the day wore on!
