Elizabeth reclaims the Schools
2008 Warwickshire Schools - The West Midlands Golf Club - Tuesday 25th March - Two years ago, in horrible windy conditions, Elizabth Mallett took her first Warwickshire title when she 'survived' on a day when only Rory Kirwan, one of Warwickshire's best ever boys, broke 80. Elizabeth has come a long way in those two years, her handicap dropping to just four, and yesterday she was the only girl to break 80 on a similar weather day.

The WLCGA 2007/2008 Winter Alliances.
This year all five alliances took place - none were cancelled due to bad weather although on a couple of occasions it was a close run thing!! These competitions are always enjoyable to play in and everyone who takes part joins in within spirit of the game. This winter golf, albeit still competitive, gives Warwickshire ladies the opportunity to meet and mix with new acquaintances and there is always plenty to talk about over the post golf lunch. So how did your club do this winter? For results and pictures please read on: -
A Welcome from your new County Captain, Bev Belcher
The New Year has arrived, the crocuses are showing and the daffodils will soon be out. More importantly some sunny days have served as a reminder that the 2008 golfing season is just around the corner. For those of you that take regular lessons and practice hard during the winter I trust you are starting to bear the fruits of your labour.
