A very special win for Madden
John Madden only took up the game of golf in his mid 30’s. Since reaching ‘Seniors’ age, he has competed every year for Warwickshires most prestigious Trophy for the Senior golfer and twice he has lost in a play-off. He is a wonderful example to any late starter of what can be achieved but having found that he enjoyed the game, the ‘competitive’ John Madden has lowered his handicap to 3 and there is now a trophy collection of which this win is very special.
