- 2nds Back to Winning Ways
Sunday 3rd July 2011 at Coventry Hearsall Golf Club vs Derbyshire - The Warwickshire seconds played their second league match of the season at Coventry Hearsall GC on Sunday 3rd July. After our humbling defeat at the hands of Nottinghamshire in our first match it was important that we got off to a good start.
- 1st V Derbyshire at Erewash Valley
Our second match of the season took us to Erewash Valley not well known by our team as only Tom had seen this course before but looking out it seemed fairly straight forward with no hidden shots for us to deal with, fresh from our success at the county 6's I was confident of a good result and the morning session didn?t go too bad as we went to lunch 3-2 down not the worst start ever but again we failed to get a head start with the foursomes.
- Power playing their way to Ganton - We are in the English Finals
Saturday 18th June 2011 - Peterborough Milton Golf Club - Midland Mens 6s qualifier - To paraphrase a once ranting Danish TV Football commentator - ' Ibbertson, Jewsbury, Dougill, Browning, Dodds, Carney - you were magnificent - the was one of the Bear's finest hours ...'
- Final Friendly - A Team vs BB & O
Sunday 8th May at Studley Wood GC - This was our last friendly before we start the league matches, a re-scheduled game as we were first off to Heythrop Park but due to a double booking this was switched to Studley Wood, a course not one of our team had played so we did not know what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised as this turned out to be a very nice golf course around 10 years old but playing many years older.
- Your Captains and Your County Needs You

- 6s Team for 2010
Warwickshire's team to compete in the MGU Qualifier at Lingdale GC on the 19th June is :
- Warwickshire Over 25's v Under 25's
Warwickshire?s finest headed for Olton Golf Club yesterday to take part in a new fixture - Over 25's v Under 25's. Faced with inclement conditions that reminded us of the 2008 friendly fixtures the rain softened Olton circuit was certainly playing a good four shots easier than it had done earlier in the week.
