  • PGA Catalunya Resort welcomes back European Tour Qualifying School Final Stage

    PGA Catalunya Resort, home of the 2009 Spanish Open, is this week welcoming back the PGA European Tour Qualifying School Final Stage, (November 28-December 3) for the second successive year. The finale of the three-stage event, which sees 156 players battle for playing privileges on the European Tour in 2010 (the top 30 plus ties qualify), is being contested over six rounds on both the Tour and Stadium courses at the acclaimed 36-hole resort near Girona, north of Barcelona.

  • JIMENEZ SETS NEW COURSE RECORD AT HACIENDA

    Ryder Cup star Miguel Angel Jimenez set a course record at the superb new championship golf resort in Spain which he will be representing. The world number 23 shot a five-under-par 67 over the 7,300-yard Dave Thomas-designed Hacienda del Alamo, in Murcia, in a round that included seven birdies.
