- Final Friendly - A Team vs BB & O
Sunday 8th May at Studley Wood GC - This was our last friendly before we start the league matches, a re-scheduled game as we were first off to Heythrop Park but due to a double booking this was switched to Studley Wood, a course not one of our team had played so we did not know what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised as this turned out to be a very nice golf course around 10 years old but playing many years older.
- A Historic Decision for Junior Golf.
At a meeting of Junior Organisers of Warwickshire Clubs, held at Copt Heath on Wednesday 27 April, it was unanimously agreed to create four area committees for the purpose of improving communication and providing mutual assistance in the managing of junior golf in the respective areas.

- The Boys are Back in Business
The 2011 4 Counties - Little Aston Golf Club - Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th April - 'Normal service is resumed' said one official but this was a new Warwickshire team, one with a bit of a disaster of a poor 2010 behind them, that came back to win the 4 Counties once again for our County.
- Davenport bags first major title
The 2011 Warwickshire Young Masters - Thursday 14th April - Stoneleigh Deer Park Golf Club - Fresh from his school winning a second 'go' at the English Schools Team Championship, Joshua Davenport (Stoneleigh and Maxstoke Park) decided it was time for his first individual major win at County level, winning by a shot from Ross Perry (The Warwickshire).
- Pell takes first title
The 2011 Warwickshire Schools - Ingon Manor Golf & County Club - Wednesday 13th April. With two holes to play, Michael Pell held a comfortable lead as he sought his first Warwickshire title. In the end he needed his advantage but had had simply outplayed the field for the previous 16 holes.
- Browning and Ibbertson show best early season form
2011 Mens Trials - Harborne GC - Sunday 10th April - Whilst Tom Ibbertson and Rob Browning were the scoring winners from the opening event of the 2011 Warwickshire Union Calendar, they were only one shot ahead of 2nds Captain Neville Gardner and one of his team's top players, Stuart Bloxham.
