Background on the award winning Val Do Lobo Property |
Vale do Lobo’s prime activity is freehold property sales. Villas and apartments can be purchased outright or plots of land can be bought by those wishing to design and build their own dream home.
Vale do Lobo’s individual approach to property design means the resort is characterised by an attractive variety of architectural styles, rather than the standard look of many other leisure developments. |

The Costa Del Sol - Golf in the Sun |
| If you are looking for golf, golf, and more golf then the Costa Del Sol has to be top of your list. There may be sun, sea and sand (to trot out the three Ss) but, and especially from October through to May, if there is one place to play Winter golf, it is this Southern tip of Spain, the coast line of Aldalucia. The recognition of how much excellent golf there is in Europe s version of Florida was the 1997 Ryder Cup .... when it rained but Europe won!

The Costa del Sol s No.1 joins Costa Golf Clinic |
Facing the thought of Winter practice at your local driving range, or trying to squeeze the ball off wet (and poorly grassed) turf on your practice ground? The answer could well be one of the established, or in this case a brand new golf school. We visited the Costa Golf Clinic, with Head Coach Mitch Harrison helping golfers of every standard improve their games - the full feature on the Costa Golf Clinic tells the wonderful story of Min Sung Kim, a 9 year old possible Superstar of World Golf for the next decade. |

The Costa Del Sol - FLIGHTS |
| From Birmingham, you have more than enough options through the many new no frills airlines, by booking in on a charter flight, or through scheduled services (Heathrow is better). We travelled with My Travel Lite who have one flight a day through to Spring*, then the increase these flights to two a day on Wednesdays and Sundays for the Summer*. No frills means lower prices and changes to how you think about travel. |

Costa Del Sol - MALAGA AIRPORT and TRAVELLING |
In the Autumn and Winter, there is still a regular stream of people coming and going through what is a big airport which in the Summer has to cope with tens of thousands of holidaymakers. It can be a bit of a walk (to get around) and when you have collected your bags (and clubs), you go down the ramp to your right (before going through customs) to do the paperwork for a hire car. Once you have done that, its not far to actually collect your car but you will need to use the lifts. We booked a Crown hire car (an offer through My Travel Lite) and paid for an upgrade in the airport - a Ford Focus with air conditioning for a week was just under £100 |

Costa Del Sol - THE RESORTS & GOLF |
| Marbella has lots of different sections - quieter parts, luxury hotels, shopping. The size and popularity of the beaches does vary as does how close they are to the coast roads. The most popular part of the town is Puerto Banus. It is rare to find one of the biggest department stores barely a par four from the beach but this happens in Puerto Banus because El Corte Ingles is on the north of a plaza, on either side are banks of luxury flats and on the south, the rather naff charms of the harbour, lined by restaurants and boutiques. |
