TAYLORMADE-ADIDAS GOLF ANNOUNCES UNIQUE
TaylorMade-adidas Golf, the creator of the ‘Demo Tour’ concept within the golf industry in the 1980’s, is proud to announce the launch of a unique and exciting new ‘experiential’ concept for the European golfing public. The idea of ‘try before you buy’ is now seen as the ideal and preferred purchase process for most golfers, so TaylorMade will provide three different types of product testing days during 2004: the ‘Experience’ Day, the ‘Experience Tour’ Day and finally the ‘Ultimate Experience’. TaylorMade-adidas Golf will be running over 400 ‘experiences’ throughout the UK and 1,200 across Europe during 2004 - including tour and ‘ultimate’ days.

Golf and Fitness
The game of Golf now has inextricable links with fitness, notably, but not only, because of the exploits of a certain Tiger Woods. Back in the 60 s, Gary Player trotted round the globe winning wherever he went partly because he was a very fit man - as he still is now. Last month, we featured Steve Backley who is to take his athletic knowledge and pass it on to the ever fitter and stronger present generation of professional. This article is not about the methods of the Top professionals. It is an in depth look at what they do and what a club member can take and use to make their golf game better.
Choosing a Gym or a Personal Trainer
In the last 10 years, the world of Fitness has changed, mostly for the better. The body conscious part of Fitness is nothing to do with how Golf and Fitness have become intertwined but it will be difficult, even at the poshest gym, to not be told about toning and shape or to have beautiful people as icons you should look up to. At some of the big health and fitness clubs, you can do just about anything, all for a monthly membership fee which for a few operators is not a yearly subscription but a charge that you pay when you decide, month on month.
Fitness - Home Kit.
There are five sorts of aerobic machinery (kit that makes your heart and lungs work harder) you can consider for home use. If you fancy the millionaire lifestyle as depicted in many films and TV programmes, the ones where a successful person does a half hour (or more) workout before sitting down to a track suit breakfast - or coming in from work and getting away from business stress with similar efforts mid evening, then a treadmill, bike or rower can be beautiful enough (and expensive) to be furniture in your home. Or what about a stepper or elliptical ski trainer?
Argo Holidays Golf Schools in Cyprus
Argo Holidays, specialist operator to Greece and Cyprus, has joined forces with Professional John Hudson to offer one week Golf Schools at three courses in Cyprus, all within close proximity of the beautiful resort of Paphos on the Mediterranean. With an all year round warm climate, Cyprus has become a firm favourite with golfers so why not consider the eastern Mediterranean for warm weather golf for 2004?
