Steve Webster was gracious in defeat after letting slip victory in the ANZ Championship in Australia. Webster was forced to settle for a disappointing share of sixth place after a horror last round on the Horizons course at Nelson Bay. Good friend, Brian Davis, captured his second European Tour title and leading home an England one, two finish. |

DUNLOP SLAZENGER FINDS NEW HOME |

Sports World International, the acquisitive company behind the Sports Soccer retail chain, has bought Dunlop Slazenger, owner of two of Britain s oldest and best known sports brands.
The deal was concluded with a consortium of banks who took over Dunlop Slazenger in 2001 from private equity group Cinven, who had backed an MBO for the brand in 1996.
