Dodds the Destroyer |
| Midland Boys Championship - Thursday 19th July 2007 - Kirby Muxloe Golf Club. Three weeks ago Sam Dodds was umming and erring over whether to play in the Midland Boys. There had been the disappointment of his team not making it through to the Junior County Finals, of the same happening when he made his Warwickshire First Team debut in the County 10s qualifier for the 'senior' version of the County Finals, then being caught for the longest time in the worst of the weather at the England Schools. And he didn't feel Kirby Muxloe would suit his game. How wrong he was.

ITS A WARWICKSHIRE ENGLISH DOUBLE |
 |
|
Thetford GC Lincolnshire - Monday 16th July 2007 - English Schools U16s Championships - there was not one but two Warwickshire Juniors bringing home the English Schools U16s Trophies in the form of Elizabeth Mallet and Jamie Carney. It was a perfect day for our young talent and they were duly rewarded for all the work they have put in before these wins and will continue to do as they look to build on this success.

ONE WIN AWAY FROM TITLE |
| Henley Golf & Country Club - Sunday 7th June - Midland League vs Staffordshire. This fixture last year was the start of the demise of Warwickshire's Boys team's chance of the Midland league title - a loss away. As yet another Summer storm brushed the Henley course in the afternoon, this years team built on a winning morning to reverse that result and take a firm grip on the Midland League title.

A rare loss for the Seconds |
| An excellent foursomes effort saw Warks take a creditable lunchtime lead of 3.5 v 2.5, this could have been better with the Hufton/Harben partnership being pegged back from a front nine 3 hole lead for their half and Jewsbury/Senior going down narrowly by 1 hole. Gary Greenway of Atherstone making his 2nd team debut formed a solid partnership with John Taylor for the biggest morning win of 5 & 3.
