For all Warwickshire Ladies - from age 9-90 - this is news of a very young winner in the National Ladies Championships. Nine-year-old Charley Hull is England's latest golfing sensation after she swept away the opposition to win a national championship. Charley, from Kettering Golf Club in Northamptonshire, tamed gale force winds and then triumphed in a sudden death play-off to win the Grand Final of the 2005 Health Perception LGU Championship at Turnberry. |

England's win in Home Internationals and new ELGA President |
| News from ELGA - kindly uspplied by Claire Tyler in the ELGA Press Office - England have won the Home Internationals for the 11th time in 14 years at Dundalk, Ireland, dashing Irelands hat-trick hopes finishing with a strong singles performance against Ireland, the previous title holders. In the winning team was Warwickshire's Felicity Johnson |

County Week Finals - Day 3 |

This is a report very kindly provided by ELGA on what's happening at the County Finals - Yorkshire successfully defend County Final title. Yorkshire have won the English County Championship at Brancepeth Castle Golf Club on a count back of matches. Play had to be abandoned early in the afternoon due to continuous torrential rain.  |

The 2005 Team Championships |
| Held at Stratford-on-Avon GC on Monday 5th September 2005. The sun cleared away the clouds at lunch as the first finishers from the 115 players came back to the clubhouse for this most friendly, but tense championship in the WLCGA Calendar. In teams of five, each of the 23 clubs would not know their final gross or nett position until the very last cards were in - as all scores counted. |

Course record tumbles at Girls Championship |

The Girls Championship was hosted by Sutton Coldfield Golf Club on Monday 15th August and saw the course record broken by Felicity Johnson. This was only one of many low scores on this tough course in fine condition! |
