- Gill Winstanley wins the Mrs Macauley Trophy at Kenilworth
Today, 30th June at Kenilworth Golf Club, the Warwickshire Vets held their Championship day. With very hot and humid weather and Kenilworth fairways providing plenty of run on the ball, some 31 players set out to score well in this Singles stroke play event.

The weather continued to be dry and sunny and Maxstoke Park GC welcomed the extensive field for this first competition of the 2010 season.

- WVLGA AUTUMN MEETING - 12th October 2009
The last competition of the season for the Vets was held at Edgbaston Golf Club on Monday 12th October and what a day it was. With a heavy dew on the fairways early on making the course play longer, one could have assumed that the later players might have faired better.

Olton Golf Club were the hosts for the Summer Meeting, which was held on Monday 24th August 2009.

Sue Westall scores an excellent 78 gross in difficult conditions to take the Mrs Mackaness Cup at Sutton Coldfield Golf Club on Monday 27th July.
