2008 Bainbridge Shield DRAW SHEET
This is the draw fro the 2008 Bainbridge, played for by every Warwickshire Union Club. For the Draw CLICK HERE The Holders (Pictured) are Coventry, last year represented by Matt Cryer and Bill Nicolson. Bill is unfortunately recovering from a very serious illness and won't be playing this year - we wish him as speedy a recovery as is possible and look forward to his re-appearance in 2009 on the County scene.

Warwickshire win Brent Knoll Bowl again - Burham & Berrow GC The Brent Knoll Bowl is an old established tournament played each year at Burnham and Berrow in Somerset. The same format as the Grafton Morrish, it's scatch foursomes played over two days. Other teams are typically - the Army (x 2), the Navy, the RAF and schools such as Old Tauntanions.
Gnyla takes U12s
Stoneleigh Deer Park GC - Monday 31st March - The Warwickshire Young Masters U12s. The triumpherate of Warwickshire's youngest talent filled the first three places in this years U12s, perhaps not in the order that would have been expected. Max Martin, nearing singles figures handicap, was not able to hold off the challenge of one of his two main opposition in Shirley's Stefan Gnyla.
In two years, Kerr proves he's pretty good
Warwickshire Boys Trials 2008 - Henley Golf & Country Club - Thursday 27th March - James Kerr (Robin Hood), has only played the game of golf for two years but he already has a handicap of 3 and was round in one under par to beat three of Wawickshire's finest to take the 2008 Boys Trials.
