Stonebridge Golf Club - Sunday 9th May - Having lost to our longest rivals last year, 2010 was a chance for revenge, and with Worcestershire missing four players because of injury, the omen should have been good. A 3-2 win in the foursommes set the match up for the singles.

The 2010 Mens Trials - Sunday 11th April 2010 - Sutton Coldfield Golf Club. Gareth Jenkins spends his life working in golf, for the Golf Foundation, but he still retains a formidable golfing game. The same ability still runs through David Hayes, who will this year return to County golf.

Warwickshire Boys Trials 2010 - Ingon Manor Golf & Country Club - Thursday 8th April 2010. Handsworth's Ryan Wallace has the mantle of Boys Captain to deal with, as well as being this year's low handicapper in the Boys Team. He showed today that he is comfortable with the responsibilities, after a one-over 73 was the best golf on the day.

Warks Young Masters - Stoneleigh Deer Park GC and Mens Match v Ladies 6th - Copt Heath. Copt Heath was the venue for the annual better ball match against the ladies and the men fielded a strong team. They won convincingly but three of the matches went to the 17th or 18th

The Warwickshire Schools is now firmly established as the first major tournament for all standards of Junior in our County. The rewards of winning are appreciated by both the lowest handicaps and the newer golfer.
