English Schools National Team Championship 2007 |

Coventry Hearsall GC -Wednesday 11th July 2007 - Our Champion School was Tudor Grange and in a tight finish, they were fourth just four points behind the winners Queen's School from Hertfordshire whose best two from three stableford total was 80 points. Each County School Golf Association send their champion to this final, run by the EGU, with players having full handicap.

ONE WIN AWAY FROM TITLE |
| Henley Golf & Country Club - Sunday 7th June - Midland League vs Staffordshire. This fixture last year was the start of the demise of Warwickshire's Boys team's chance of the Midland league title - a loss away. As yet another Summer storm brushed the Henley course in the afternoon, this years team built on a winning morning to reverse that result and take a firm grip on the Midland League title.

The County Membership Scheme (CMS) is open to ANY members of every Warwickshire Union Golf Club. The funds raised from the CMS go to support the activities of the Warwickshire Union. It is two special events each year with lots of superb prizes and the winners (and a number of places) from each event go through to the Dick Squires Cup Final. An excellent foursomes effort saw Warks take a creditable lunchtime lead of 3.5 v 2.5, this could have been better with the Hufton/Harben partnership being pegged back from a front nine 3 hole lead for their half and Jewsbury/Senior going down narrowly by 1 hole. Gary Greenway of Atherstone making his 2nd team debut formed a solid partnership with John Taylor for the biggest morning win of 5 & 3.

MIDLAND LEAGUE AND MIDLAND OPEN AMATEUR |
| Sunday 1st July 2007 - Rugby GC and Worcester GC - Saturday 30th June - Northants County GC - Warwickshire keep winning! Your first team continued their winning ways with a 9-6 triumph in the 'local derby' against rivals Worcestershire. After a strong start, it was only a big comeback that saw the team through to take the match, whilst on Saturday Matt Cryer signaled his comeback after injury with second place in the Midland Open Amateur.
