WARWICKSHIRE SCHOOLS CHAMPIONSHIP - Tuesday 10th April 2007 - Stratford Oaks GC - Entries Close 3rd April 2007 - This is the Championship to decide the Warwickshire Schools Girls and Boys Champions for 2007. These two competitions are gross but there is also the Warwickshire Schools Nett Championship to play for, the Warwickshire Schools team Championship (qualifying for the English Schools Team Championship TO BE PLAYED AT COVENTRY HEARSALL on11th July 2007), and the Warwickshire Schools U16s (winner guaranteed a place in the English Schools U16s)..

Warwickshire Cup 2006 / 2007 - 1st Round Update |
| This is the completede draw for the Warwickshire Cup for this season after R1 of the matches.
For the draw sheet CLICK HERE. In these first matches there were two notable results. Firstly, in the 'battle' between the two south Birmingham clubs situated either side of Solihull, Hatchford Brook came out as winners against Robin Hood. The 'heavyweight' clash was between Maxstoke and Atherstone, each a past winner of the Bainbridge Shield plus Maxstoke were 2004/5 champions in the Warwickshire Cup itself.

Today sees the start of a New Year for the England Cricket team. Things can only get better (for our cricketers) but for Warwickshire Union Golf, 2006 was a wonderful year, our Centenary. We wanted to celebrate the year in style and I hope you were able to be part of the celebrations or followed our Centenary events and Championships via our web site. If you want to have your own personal record of the year, and the ninety-nine that went before, our Centenary Books is now available through our County Secretary Graham Hayes.

Three Champions - planning for 2007 |
| Ben Stafford, Andy Sullivan and Rory Kirwan each won a Centenary Championship in 2006 (three in the case of Rory) but none of the three is resting on their laurels. Just like all Warwickshire's best players, their targets are high, and each has already started preparing for this year. These are some of their thoughts on 2006 and their plans for 2007 -
