    Felicity Johnson earned her maiden European Tour victory today at the Tenerife Open, played at Costa Adeje Golf Course.

Although the County Golf Season is now over until the middle of March, for all bar the Warwickshire Cup which your club may well be competing in, there will be daily updates on this site from now, through to Christmas, then on into the New Year. There will be something for everyone in the coming weeks and months so please check-out our 'Features' whenever you can.

  • LOOKING FORWARD TO THE GOLF SEASON

    Its just a few weeks to the start of the 2007 season and County Captain Anne Parry and 2nds Captain Kath Ashley are readying their players for what will be a busy season, whilst Warwickshire Junior Girls continue to develop into such a talented group. This month there is the Luncheon at The West Midlands Golf Club with Beverly Lewis as guest speaker (see the separate feature - make sure you have a ticket!) whilst April sees all the WLCGA teams taking part in pre-season friendlies.

  • Claire Dowling retires from County Golf

    Your County Captain Anne Parry mentioned yesterday that next year the Warwickshire team may be missing a couple of players for 2007and last night, firstly to Anne and Sue Timberlake, then today to all her team mates, Claire Dowling announced her retirement from competitive county golf.

    ASSOCIATION OF GOLF WRITERS - Annika Sorenstam has made further history by becoming the first woman to win the Golf Writers' Trophy twice in the 55-year history of European golf's most prestigious award. Sorenstam triumphed for the second time in three years, recognition of her continued dominance of the women's game

  • One-Hundred and Sixty pound MAKEOVER FOR WARKS GIRLS!

    More than 40 ladies attended a special beauty evening at Copt Health Golf Club in aid of the Warwickshire Girls and were able to give themselves a makeover, under the advice and guidance of professional beauty therapist Alison Campbell. The event was the brainchild of Warwickshire's first team player, Lisa Barton who works with Alison in a part-time capacity selling the Artistry range of skin care and makeup.
