Its Warwickshire’s Record! |
 |
|
To win three times in this annual team competition between Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Staffordshire and Gloucestershire has only been accomplished by two teams. In the first four years of the competition, Gloucs won four years in succession. 2005 saw Warwickshire with a chance to set a record that may never be beaten and watched by many of the people who have developed our successful juniors sides of the past five years, and beyond, that fifth win in a row was taken. |

A big win for the end of the season |
| At Morley Hayes Golf Club, on Tuesday 19th October, Warwickshire retained the Midland Junior League title with an excellent performance in some terrible conditions. Having qualified unbeaten again, their opponents were the same as 2003, Nottinghamshire. It promised to be a close match but after a morning foursomes win by 4-1, Warwickshire were very much in the driving seat. |

Unbeaten for 2004 – now for Notts |

The 2004 Warwickshire Juniors Team, which to Brian Fish, Chairman of Junior Golf are
Brian thinks ‘The best squad of Juniors in the Midlands’, continued their unbeaten run of team matches that stretches back into 2002, when the likes of Chris Evans was playing, with a, 8.5-5.5 win over Derbyshire at Burton-on Trent Golf Club on Sunday 11th September.

Dale’s Double |
| With two 69s, Dale Marson from Rugby Golf Club repeated the performance of Chris Evans (in 2002) and Chris Hazledine (2003) in winning both the Boys and the U21s Championships for 2004 – by 3 and 4 shots respectively. It was excellent golf over the perfectly set-up Colt Course of Harborne GC, a true test for the best Boys and U21s in the County. |

Three out of Three |
 |
|
At Brocton Hall, as Todd Hamilton was winning the Open, the Championship he had dreamed about and worked for in two decades playing golf across the World, 12 Warwickshire Juniors were continuing winning ways by beating Staffordshire Juniors comfortably to cement the team’s position at the top of the Midland League. |

Warks Boys win – but its not so easy. |
| The scoreboard says Warwickshire 10.5, Worcestershire 4.5 but that was not how things looked with 9 holes to go in the afternoon singles. In defence of the Midland League Boys title, this was a great start and it was a fantastic finish by our Boys Team, captained by Mens Trials winner Ben Stafford. |
