Dodds completes the set |

2008 Warwickshire Schools - The West Midlands Golf Club - Tuesday 25th March. Sam Dodds took the Warwickshire Schools title yesterday, to complete the set of Midlands and Warwickshire Boys strokeplay championships. He did it the hard way after a bit of a disastrous front nine in bitterly cold conditions.

2008 Boys 4 Counties Team |
| Boys Manager John Simpson has just announced his team to try and take the record seven in a row sequence (held by ourselves) to a new record of eight consecutive victories over Gloucs, Worcs and Staffs in the annual Four Counties tournament in three weeks time . The team will be led by the new Boys Captain Rob Bardsley (Moor Hall).

| Warwickshire Boys vs Notts - Rugby GC - Sunday 16th March 2008. In the first of 2008's pre-season friendlies, our Boys took on their opposition from last year's Midland League Boys Finals in the annual match we have against Notts Boys to prepare for the coming summer months. At lunch, our Boys held a commanding 5-1 lead before, as per 2007, golf was interrupted by flooding - 'business as usual'! |

Thursday 13th March 2008 ? Copt Heath Golf Club. Retiring President of the WUGC Ltd, John Stubbings, welcomed representatives many of the 52 Warwickshire Clubs to the first AGM for the newly formed company. After apologies and approval of the minutes of the last AGM of the WUGC, the meeting moved onto the receipt of the accounts, as presented by Treasurer John Powell. |

2008 Warwickshire Annual Junior Meeting |
| Thursday 14th February - Copt Heath GC - Warwickshire Union President John Stubbings welcomed the delegates to the annual review of the past year and the announcement of plans for 2008, another year of significant success The meeting then started with Chairman of Junior Golf John Jewsbury giving a review of 2007. John firstly thanked the Junior Management Team of Dick Ferry, John Simpson and Antony Gascoigne, for all their hard work and commitment.
