Constantino Rocca wins golf's 'coolest' tournament
12th January 2008: Italian golfing legend Constantino Rocca battled the elements to win this year's Chivas Snow Golf Championship in the luxurious resort of St Moritz. Rocca won by one shot, holding off a strong challenge from Chilean Christian Leon, winner of last August's Chivas Snow Golf Championship in Chile.

Doha, (Qatar): US Ryder Cup star Scott Verplank will be up against the swirling winds of the Arabian Gulf as well as a world-class field when he makes his Middle East debut at the $2.5 million Commercialbank Qatar Masters, held at Doha Golf Club from Jan 24-27. Verplank has shown he is capable of taming blustery conditions in places like Maui in Hawaii ? where he tied for 18th earlier this month - but it's the warm desert 'shamaal' that blows across the 7,374-yard Doha course that will be a new and testing opponent for the 43 year-old Texan.
CASEY, POULTER ADD EVEN MORE DEPTH TO COMMERCIALBANK QATAR MASTERS FIELD
Luxury Cruiser Up for Grabs in $2.5 million Event - Doha (QATAR): Ian Poulter will be hoping for some of rival Paul Casey's Middle East magic when the two join a star-studded field for the $2.5 million Commercialbank Qatar Masters this month. The two Englishman join the likes of Adam Scott, Luke Donald, Sergio Garcia and defending champion Retief Goosen at Doha Golf Club from January 24-27. Casey has already enjoyed Gulf success with victory in Abu Dhabi in 2006 but for Poulter, his appearance in Doha, Dubai and Abu Dhabi have yet to bear fruit.
