MASTERS STARS LINE UP FOR
Paul Casey, fresh from his recent 6th place finish in the US Masters, has confirmed that he will compete in The Daily Telegraph Damovo British Masters at the Marriott Forest of Arden on the May 6-9, 2004. Casey, now ranked World 26 following his exploits at Augusta in one of the most exciting Majors of recent times, will be joined by three of the recent greats of European golf boasting a total of 6 US Masters' titles between them - Nick Faldo (3), José Maria Olazábal (2) and Sandy Lyle (1).

You will be fully aware that from the 6th-9th May, the Marriott Forest of Arden will host another top European Tour event, the Daily Telegraph Damovo British Masters. With all due respect to the work that Sky have done for Top Golf, this week will be extra special as its a Championship being covered by the BBC, meaning a much bigger audience and that the Hotel and its Championship course will be showcased across the Country - but Marriott support golf at all levels ....

We’ve teamed up with our friends at the Marriott Forest of Arden to offer two fantastic prizes of tickets to The Daily Telegraph Damovo British Masters, to be held at the Meriden-based venue from May 6-9. In Ryder Cup year, Europe’s best golfers will be at The Daily Telegraph Damovo British Masters to battle for valuable qualifying points. Local heroes Lee Westwood and 2003 British Masters winner Greg Owen are already confirmed starters at what will be the only European Tour tournament held in the Midlands in 2004.

Bigger and better - the British Masters for 2004
The Daily Telegraph Damovo British Masters is now the welcome home for the European Tour in the UK, taking over from the B&H International as the first sight of Messrs Clarke, Westwood etc. for 2004 at a course and hotel which will be holding its 11th Tour Event and 4th British Masters. Along with date will go the very large galleries that have been waiting all Winter for Tour golf and the British Masters also takes over as the start of BBC Golf Coverage here in the UK.

Fresh from his sister s 21st birthday party, Justin Rose produced his best round of the week to take some positives across the Atlantic with him later on this evening. His 67 took him under par and was typical of all four rounds at this year s event, playing the front nine well (and for this round managing to come in at two under for the back nine).
