Warwickshire vs Derbys - the win makes it 3-0 |
| Warwickshire v Derbyshire 1st Team Match Report - It's not often Andy Sullivan walks off the course following a 7&5 defeat but that was how far he and Sam Dodds were off the pace in the morning foursomes at the picturesque Matlock course. Early on in the round they had little time to enjoy the scenery as most of their shots were played from under the trees! Four down after four and despite a couple of birdies they succumbed to a heavy defeat and headed to the snooker table to contemplate. |

Team Warwickshire 2nds v Derbyshire 2nds at Maxstoke Park on Sunday 6th
September 2009 - It could be reasonably assumed that with both of the Coventry Hearsall pairing of James Bromley & Sam Foster being accountants (one fully
qualified the other a trainee) that a rudimentary understanding of
numbers is a given. One of the more bizarre incidents in county golf
proves that this is most certainly not the case! |

Pro-Am Wars - Revenge of the Paid |
| The 2009 Warwickshire Open - Robin Hood Golf Club - Wednesday 2nd September 2009. When the 'Dark Lord' of the Warwickshire PGA (their Secretary - and past Open Champion Nigel Selwyn-Smith) rings up his best minions and instructs them to bring back control of the 'best in Bear County' title - the battle was about to commence. |

The 2009 Warwickshire U14s and U12s - North Warwickshire Golf Club - Tuesday 24th August 2009 - The first thing to be said about this years' County championships for the youngest players was the quality of the field. So much talent aged 8 to 14 were in the field and the prospect for 2010 and beyond are that future winners may well be under par to do so. That sort of golf is well within the compass of this year's champion Max Martin, especially after he was one under for his final nine to take both cups.

2009 Midland League - Match 2 - vs Shrops & Hereford |
| Shrewsbury GC kindly agreed to host this rearranged fixture after we were rained off at Ludlow in June. The course was tricky and bouncy and certainly took a bit of knowing. Six of the team had gone up on Saturday afternoon for a practice round and all agreed on the benefit of doing so. With greens running at 11.5 on the stimpmeter this was clearly going to be thorough examination of our skills |
