Paul Broadhurst admits he is not the fittest player on the European Tour. Now in his 40s he is happy to let the young bucks lead the way in the gym. While other players are pumping iron, or pounding out miles on the treadmill, Broadhurst, who is 42 this year, prefers to be tucked up in bed.

Course-guide specialist 3DEagleView has expanded its portfolio of prestigious courses by signing four-time Ryder Cup venue The Belfry. It now produces the guide to the resort's Ryder Cup course, The Brabazon - and it is in good company with St Andrews, Royal Portrush and The PGA National Ireland included among 3dEagleview's other clients.
BUSHEY HALL GOLF CLUB EMBARKS ON MAJOR COURSE IMPROVEMENTS WITH INTERNATIONALLY ACCLAIMED DESIGNER
Bushey Hall Golf Club in Hertfordshire is about to embark on a major long term investment to upgrade the course. This month will see the start of the work on the course which is the oldest parkland course in Hertfordshire. The work is expected to be phased over two years and it will include: the planting of additional trees, rebuilding bunkers and further improvements to the design and layout of the course. The timing of the improvements coincides with The Club's centenary celebrations - clubhouse will be 100 years old in July 2007.
EXTRA PLACES IN FOOTBALLERS' CLASSIC
Following the tremendous response to this year's La Manga Footballers' Golf Classic, organisers have increased the number of team places in the event. Now in its 11th year, the event will see teams of three playing with a different football celebrity in three competition rounds of golf from June 2-7.
