After making a final 'watch' of those in contention for selection for the County Team to go to Princes later this month, at the Warwickshire Open and yesterday at the 1st team match against Shropshire & Herefordshire, County Captain Graham Hargreaves has announced his team ....

| Midland League - R4 matches - 1sts at home at Olton GC - 2nds away - Sunday 10th September. With two big wins, Captains Graham Hargreaves and Nick Clifford now know that two more wins in early October will see Warwickshire capture both Midland League titles in our Centenary year. There was some help for the quests for each trophy in other matches played today but each team was very convincing in the manner they took control of each match.

Coventry GC - Friday 8th September 2006 - Centenary Warwickshire Open. With rounds of 69 and 71, the hero of the junior team from 2005 Andy Sullivan took his first Senior Warwickshire Championships and some excellent form for possibly going back to Princes GC at the end of month when Warwickshire play in the County Finals.

Magnificent September |
| September sees the end of the Championship season and Warwickshire will be in the final event of the month (if you didn't already know!) but before the County Finals, there is lots of golf to be played by both our Amateurs and the World's best, golf that you can go and watch live or that will be on TV all day, every day. It all starts with the Centenary Warwickshire Open Championships on Friday 8th September at Coventry Golf Club.
