Coventry GC - Friday 8th September 2006 - Centenary Warwickshire Open. With rounds of 69 and 71, the hero of the junior team from 2005 Andy Sullivan took his first Senior Warwickshire Championships and some excellent form for possibly going back to Princes GC at the end of month when Warwickshire play in the County Finals.

Magnificent September |
| September sees the end of the Championship season and Warwickshire will be in the final event of the month (if you didn't already know!) but before the County Finals, there is lots of golf to be played by both our Amateurs and the World's best, golf that you can go and watch live or that will be on TV all day, every day. It all starts with the Centenary Warwickshire Open Championships on Friday 8th September at Coventry Golf Club.

Friday 9th September 2006 - Coventry GC - the 2006 Warwickshire Open. The 'showpiece' championship of each year, when Warwickshire professionals take on our best Amateurs for the Open title, has attracted a very strong field. The draw is available in this feature. The 36 holes of the Open will also complete the 72 holes played for the TP Cooke Salver for the low score by an Amateur in both the Open and the Amateur.

| On Saturday 9th September, at one of our Oldest Golf Clubs, there are still a few spaces in on of the most prestigious 36 hole Opens in the Midlands. North Warwickshire GC is the home of the HOWITT BOWL and it is the oldest Open in our County. Previous winners have included the likes of Paul Broadhurst, Tom Whitehouse and Tony Allen - would you like to try and join these top golfers?

Shephard takes Centenary Seniors |

2006 Centenary Warwickshire Seniors Championship - Ladbrook Park GC - Monday 21st August - Malcolm Shephard has marked the winner's card for the past three years. in 2006 he also marked the winner's card but this time only to add his signature to his own 73 which was good enough for a one stroke win over multiple Seniors winner John Lawton who produced his own best round of the year, a 74.
