A winning start to the Junior Midland League for 2005. |
| Sunday 1st May 2005 - Away at Hagley, Warwickshire Juniors were impressive 9.5 to 5.5 winners against Worcestershire. There was no come down after the record success in the 4 Counties the weekend before although the morning foursomes were halved and Boys Captain Andy Sullivan continued his winnings singles run with another point by a big margin. |

Its Warwickshire’s Record! |
To win three times in this annual team competition between Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Staffordshire and Gloucestershire has only been accomplished by two teams. In the first four years of the competition, Gloucs won four years in succession. 2005 saw Warwickshire with a chance to set a record that may never be beaten and watched by many of the people who have developed our successful juniors sides of the past five years, and beyond, that fifth win in a row was taken. |
