Centenary County Captain Graham Hargreaves is using 17 players over the three First team matches to prepare for the 2006 season and the eight players selected for this match gave their Captain very good reason to consider them for the all important Midland League Matches to come |

Boys v Notts - Friendly Match |
| This is a report on the opening Juniors match from last weekend. The match was played at Whitefields GC on a very cold and breezy day. Warwicks won the morning foursomes 4 1/2 to 1 1/2. Winners were Chris Dougill and Rory Kirwan, Steve Mumford and Andrew Geraghty, John Paul Banbury and Rob Bardsley, Steven Butler and Sam Newey. |

The Centenary starts with a Party - and two wins |

Over 180 guest from the Warwickshire Union Clubs gathered at Olton Golf Club to celebrate the start of the Unions' Centenary, to the day and at the same venue as the founding members did all that time ago. Present were some of Warwickshire most notable players and past Executive members, including Past President Cyril Jewsbury, now in his 90s and Past Captain John Whitworth. Both these gentlemen played in pre Second World War Warwickshire Amateur Championships.

Sunday 19th March - The Warwickshire Cup Final 2005-2006. A young Warwickshire Golf & Country Club Scratch team staged a fantastic comeback today to beat the past 'dominators' of County Scratch Foursomes golf Coventry Finham in the final of the Warwickshire Cup, by 2.5 to 0.5 - with a little help from Finham for the foundation of the Warwickshire' s team.

The Warwickshire Union AGM 2006 |
| Thursday 16th March 2006 - Copt Heath Golf Club - Retiring President Jim Dean welcomed over 60 delegates, representatives and Executive members to the AGM which marks the beginning of the Union's Centenary Celebrations. The first few agenda items covered the record of last year's AGM after which the President gave the Executive report for 2005 to those present, and marked his retirement with his own thanks to all those who had supported him throughout the two years' of his Presidency.
