Midland Youths 2005 + Matchplay Finalists
These are the Warwickshire scores from each day of the Midland Youths 2005 being held at Stoke Rochford GC on July 6th, 7th and 8th - the 72 final totals are now posted. Tomorrow (Sunday 10th) the Final of the 2005 Matchplay will be an all Maxstoke Park affair between Antony Gascoigne and Rob Browning - for full details click
The Oadby Golf Festival
Oadby organise perhaps the only seven day golf festival in the UK and this year there is an open invitation* for clubs in Warwickshire to enter a team in the Festival’s Am-Am (*The first 80 teams entered will make up the field for the Am-Am). Oadby’s festival has lots more competitions that individuals or two ball team’s can enter and this feature contains details of the whole week, as well as the contact details and web site for application forms. In 2005, the club will add significantly to the thousands of pounds it has raised for charities over the past few years.

This article includes all the results from the 2005 Warwickshire Schools held at Stoneleigh Park GC. There are also details of the Warwickshire Schools Teams for the Midland Schools Championship at Maxstoke Park GC on Friday 3rd June, the wildcards who will also play in that Championships. A Wishaw junior winning the Nett Championship also gave that club the chance to host the McParlin Qualifier for the Boys with the same for The Warwickshire for the Girls

Warwickshire Schools Championships 2005 – Stoneleigh Deer Park Golf Club – Wednesday 30th March 2005. The past 8 years has seen the numbers playing in the Warwickshire Schools go from 40 to 77 and for siz of those years, the weather has been kind for the first Championship of each year. 1997 was very cold and heavy rain all day and this year, its was just about as bad for the Juniors competing for five trophies.
