Super Ray takes the U11s |

With a storming round of 29 over the Lea Marston Par 3 course, Nathan Ray held off the challenge of three girls to take the Warwickshire Schools U11s by two points using the specially modified stableford system for this competition. It was excellent golf from the inform Maxstoke Junior who shot a 79 nett 65 at the Kenilworth Junior Open just last week. |

Dale’s Double |
| With two 69s, Dale Marson from Rugby Golf Club repeated the performance of Chris Evans (in 2002) and Chris Hazledine (2003) in winning both the Boys and the U21s Championships for 2004 – by 3 and 4 shots respectively. It was excellent golf over the perfectly set-up Colt Course of Harborne GC, a true test for the best Boys and U21s in the County. |

It was a great day for Warwickshire Junior Golf at the England Schools Championships at Thetford G C, Norfolk, on Monday 28th June 2004. There were just 15 places available in the two England Schools teams for the International matches at the end of the Summer and 31 Counties were represented through the qualification process - Warwickshire ended up with 3 caps - 20% of the available places. |

David Harris - making it in America |
| In 2002 a new face appeared in the ranks of Warwickshire Junior golf. His name was David Harris and he played some great golf for the County and in the Union Championships during that year. David became part of Warwickshire golf through moving back to the region with his father's work and pre 2002, he had been a big part of Junior golf in Europe - he came back here already a good golfer. Last year was spent on the Amateur circuit until August 2003 when he crossed 'the pond' to sample US College golf - this is the story since then.

This is the start of Summer of Warwickshire Championship Golf which will end with the Warwickshire Open at Olton GC in early September. You have to have qualified to play in the Warwickshire Open and there are no entry forms for this Championship.
At the end of July (30th) is the Warwickshire Juniors and U21s Championships, at Harborne.
The following week on 3rd August, is the Warwickshire U15s Championship at its home of the North Warwickshire GC.
Its the turn of the U11s at Marston Lakes Golf and Country Club on 9th August.
On Monday 16th August, the Warwickshire Seniors will be held at Nuneaton GC. |

A new Game on the Circuit. |
| The ‘Pro Tour’ and the ‘Fun circuit’ of golf games has a new arrival and it’s a very good one. Few games cross over between both the serious player and when a game can be enjoyed by anyone but International Golf Pro, from Oxygen Games, is top notch and to prove it, we entered into the ‘Big Three’, three rounder. Forget Nicklaus, Palmer and Player and their modern equivalent of Woods, Els and Mickleson … bring on our three special players. |
