On a sunny, warm but windy day at Moor Hall Golf Club, 23 Warwickshire Ladies commenced their quest to win the title 'County Champion 2011'....

The County Championships together with the Silver & Bronze Division Trophies are being held in 2011 at Moor Hall Golf Course on Wednesday 4th May. Lewine MAIR entertained 140 members of the Warwickshire Ladies County Golf Association at their Spring Luncheon held at the Warwickshire Golf & Country Club on Monday 21st March. Her fantastic recall of events past and present, wit and anecdotes of certain tour players, both male and female who she knows well, had us all enthralled. Many of the assembled company knew her of old and it was a great time for renewing old friendships....

Sun kissed fairways greeted the 50 ladies teeing off in the final Winter Alliance competition at Olton today. You could have been fooled that it was the Algarve as the course looked splendid in the glorious spring sunshine and one competitor was even spotted wearing cut-offs!......
