When a team stays together, a three-peet is a very difficult achievement. If new players are joining an established group, the pressures can be less. When a team has a label of being very talented, it doesn t matter whether they are old hands or new to the competition, the players are under lots of pressure.

Midland Group 10 Counties Boys Qualifying 2002 |

As you can see from the intro picture, the weather for the 10 Counties qualifying was terrible for the afternoon play, effecting the later starters especially. Warwickshire s team was Jon Wetton (Boys Captain), James Crompton, Sam Foster, Sam Hufton, Jak Hamblett and Chris Evans.
