The venue was Rugby Golf Club for the first friendly of the season, against Northamptonshire. Expectations were high, following last seasons 'clean sweep' for Captain Pete Clark - a hard act to follow. New Seconds Captain, Neville Gardner, had picked a side made up of a mixture of youth and experience.

Warwickshire vs Nottinghamshire Juniors - Henley Golf & Country Club - Sunday 20th March - the day started well with fine sunny weather gracing the Henley course. In the six morning foursome matches gave Warwickshire a 3 1/2 to 2 1/2 score.

The 2010 Junior Order of Merit is now open for entry. Last year 18 clubs entered and more than 250 juniors scored JOM points, with the final placings going to the last three holes of the final even, the JOM Championship, with the 2009 winner being Michael Pell from Olton (Pictured).
