Juniors take three out of four
Midland League Play-offs - Tuesday 16th October - Wollaton Park GC, Nottingham. Having missed out on the single qualification spot for the English Junior County Finals - by some margin after a number of other counties stormed past us and Worcestershire took that top spot - Warwickshire Juniors made sure of every other trophy they could win with one final unbeaten performance against regular rivals Nottinghamshire.
Coventry retain!

JOM success for the Front Runner
JOM Championship and JOM Final Results for 2007 - The West Midlands GC - Saturday 6th October 2007. Each of the past seven years Warwickshire has produced a very good crop of Juniors, from the likes of Rob Steele and his compatriots, through Andy Sullivan and the like, to this year's Warwickshire Junior Champion Sam Dodds and his older team mates. Each Summer, its a nervous wait to see how good the next 'batch' of juniors will be and the JOM is the best pointer to this.
Another faltering finish
Midland League - R5 - Sunday 7th October 2007 - Handsworth GC - vs Notts. The maths was simple. Any Warwickshire win and Staffordshire would have to beat it by 1.5 individual match wins to take the Midland League Firsts trophy. In the Seconds, Worcestershire needed our team to win, if they could beat Derbyshire at Moseley, to take that title.
