Harborne GC - Sunday 3rd July 2005 - 1st team vs Notts - 'You don't win matches tee to green' was one comment and County Captain Andy Kearns was more forthright after a disaster on the foursomes was followed by a fight back that with 9 holes to play, seemed to point to a Warwickshire win.

More success in the English Schools |
| Warwickshire continued their run of success in the NASUWT English Schools Championships at Trentham GC with second and third places for Ben Bernamont and Rory Kirwan. Rory Kirwan, who won the Warwickshire Schools in the Spring, is aged 17 and is now off scratch after rounds of 69 and then 72. He placed third behind Ben (Pictured), a member at Coventry Finham, on countback, after the Coventry Junior had shot 72 then a 69. |

The Summer of Golf goes on |
 |
|
The qualification for any sections of our County to play in the County Championship Finals is very tough. Our Juniors are through, and Warwickshire Ladies who played six matches last year to make it through to the England Finals have completed 'Stage 1' for this year by reaching the Midland Finals (3 wins). Coming second (out of 10) has only consolation value, unfortunately, for Warwickshire men. The season goes on though and there are plenty of Championships for all our golfers to compete in which with individual success they can gain the experience which will help teams, including one for the very youngest golfers.

Mens County Finals Qualifier |
| Worfield GC - Saturday 18th June 2005 - Worfield was baked and with a stiff breeze, the lunchtime Warwickshire scores were good, actually very good. But not good enough. From the Union's team of six, with all score to count, the total team score was -6 (six under par). This was 15 shots adrift of Lincs!
